le Bon Marche

Forget Les Galleries Lafayette, Le Bon Marche wins in my book for the best shopping in Paris.  It took a local friend's insistence to convince me to focus my summer sale shopping efforts on this left bank treasure, but after spending a rainy day wandering through its many levels, there was no need to cross the river.  All the top designers fall under one roof, with most others scattered on or near the nearby Avenue St. Germaine.

On the Watch List: Burberry Check Coat

This little gem is currently on my watch list. Once the weather starts to cool, I will make this cute little coat mine.

la Grande Epicerie

The market portion of le Bon Marche, this is a culinary playground.  On my most recent excursion to Paris, it took three trips to this market to fully satisfy my cravings.  Confitures, spices, salts, mustards, chocolates, wines, cheeses, sugars, and honeys topped my list.

Out of the Pool, Into the Ocean

Shoe purchases are similar to swimming, in that once you dive into the deep end, its hard to go back to the kiddie pool.  Too see the shoes that cast me into deep waters, scroll through the lovely Louboutin Spring/Summer collection for my shoes of choice: Iowa Zeppa (Navy Blue)
